I can’t believe that Autumn is already here, even though the weather has just turned cool this week in Memphis, TN! Autumn is synonymous with crisp air, falling leaves, scary movies, and pumpkin spice everything. I saw some other bloggers creating their Fall bucket lists so I thought I’d create an alcohol-free version! Don’t have time to read the whole post? I love this time of year mostly because I love costume parties! However, it’s honestly hard for me to go to Halloween parties now that I stopped drinking. I spent many Halloweens dressing up and blacking out. Halloween parties, in the past, were hard for me to attend and still stay sober. So last year I did not dress up or go out.
Even though I did not go out costumed for Halloween last year, I started new, fun traditions for the season. I went to a haunted house with my family for the first time in my life! (It was so scary, I’m not sure I’ll do that again!!) There is also a tamer haunted corn maze in Memphis that I had never been too before. I even tried a Pumpkin Spice Latte for the first time and made spooky-themed treats for my monthly book club meeting.
When I was drinking, I was so focused on my Halloween costume, scoping out all of the party options, and finding friends I was going to pre-game. I never participated in other autumn activities with my family.
This year, I decided to make myself a fall bucket list and continue new traditions that don’t involve alcohol. And I’m sharing them with you! I’m going to check off all of these fun alcohol-free activities for fall before the winter holidays begin. You can join me by downloading this printable and checking them off for yourself!
